Missouri State Requirements

Missouri does not have any state home inspector certificate, licenseing or registration requirements.  However, some of the local jurisdictions may have their own requirements.

It is advantageous to belong to a national organization such as the National Association of Home Inspectors ("NAHI") www.nahi.org  or the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) www.ashi.org.  These organizations require a certain amount of education hours and that you pass a home inspection exam in order to join.
