Online 48-Hour Broker Pre-Examination Course To qualify for a broker license in Missouri, you must first be actively licensed as a salesperson under a broker for a minimum of 24 of the immediately preceding 30 months. Then you must successfully complete an approved broker pre-examination course and pass the AMP broker prelicense test. The broker prelicense test was changed effective January 1, 2009 to a situation based simulation. Can't find a school in your area that offers an approved broker course? With the economic downturn and changes to the license law in MO, enrollment in broker courses has dropped considerably and many schools have chosen not to renew their classroom broker courses. Refunds. Refunds will be issued only if you are unable to take the course due to software incompatibility. Once you have begun taking the course, no refunds will be issued for any reason. You have six (6) months within which to complete the course or your permission will expire. If you do not complete the course within the six months, you may contact the school for a 90-day extension. There is a $50 fee for an extension. Enrollment. To enroll in the course, you must agree to our school policy and terms of use and we must verify your license status. Upon receipt of your enrollment form, we will verify your license status, charge your credit or debit card and register you on the school site. You will receive an e-mail from us when you are registered and may begin taking the course immediately. If we are unable to verify that you have been actively licensed for at least 24 consecutive months and your are not a reactivating broker or nonresident broker, we will not complete the process and will not collect payment from you, but will notify you of the situation via e-mail.
