How to Get a Real Estate License in Missouri

Salesperson:

1. Complete an approved 48-hour salesperson pre-examination course.
2. Pass the AMP (Applied Measurement Professionals) test.
3. Complete an approved 24-hour Missouri Real Estate Practice Course.  This may be taken before or after passing the AMP exam, but must be completed after the pre-examination course and before applying for a license.
4. Affiliate with a licensed Missouri broker and apply for a license.

Broker:

1. Obtain a salesperson license and actively work under a broker for at least 24 of the immediately preceding 30 months prior to application for the broker's license.
2. Complete an approved 48-hour broker pre-examination course.
3. Pass the AMP broker test.
4. Apply for a broker's license.
